Water in dishwasher tub

I just used afresh to clean my dishwasher as directed, one in cleaner tray and another in the tub, to get rid of excess water in tub. However, at the end of cycle, run with normal wash cycle, I still have water in the tub. Any suggestions/ Kitchenaid, only 5 years old.
